BWTS is providing technical examination, as well as maintenance and repair of the safety equipment, such as the access systems and chain hoists, at the Arkona, Amrumbank West and Nordsee Ost wind farms.

The company is also taking on preparatory measures for carrying out the upcoming annual maintenance on the total of 188 wind turbines at the three projects.

Following a test, the equipment components are serviced by BWTS and, if necessary, repaired. Work began in February.

Arkona consists of 60 Siemens SWT-6.0-154 turbines located 35 km northeast of the island of Rügen. The 385 MW project was commissioned in April 2019.

Amrumbank West features 80 Siemens SWT-3,6-120 turbines with an output of 302 MW. The project, located 35 km north of Helgoland, has been operational since 2015.

The 295 MW Nordsee Ost is in the immediate vicinity of Amrumbank West. It consists of 48 Senvion 6.2M-126 turbines commissioned in May 2015.
