Brussels Gears for 14th EUSEW

Authorities & Government

EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), the biggest event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe, is taking place in Brussels from 17 to 21 2019.

The event is made up of a 3-day policy conference offering various networking opportunities, an EU Sustainable Energy Awards competition with a public vote for the citizens’ award and local events, Energy Days, held across Europe throughout the months of May and June.

The 14th edition of EUSEW will host a policy conference running from Tuesday 18th to Thursday 20th June.

EUSEW brings together public authorities, private companies, NGOs and consumers to promote initiatives to save energy and move towards renewables for clean, secure and efficient power.

Launched in 2006 by the European Commission, the EUSEW is organised by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) in close cooperation with Directorate-General for Energy.

As part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week, the above mentioned Awards recognise this year’s top sustainable energy projects, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable future for all EU citizens. The categories include Engagement, Leadership, Innovation and Youth. 12 projects have been selected as finalists.
