Ithaca adds another Repsol Sinopec man to executive team

Oil and gas company Ithaca Energy, a subsidiary of Israel’s Delek Group, has appointed David Crawford as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company.

Ithaca said on Thursday that David Crawford is taking over the role from his predecessor Graham Forbes who will be leaving Ithaca, effective 1 February 2021.

Crawford is a Chartered Accountant with over 34 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and over 15 years’ experience in a CFO role.

For the last three years, Crawford has been the CFO of Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited and prior to this was the CFO at Dana Petroleum and Dolphin Drilling.

He also occupied financial roles at Total E&P UK plc and Occidental Petroleum.

Ithaca Energy has also recently appointed a new chief executive officer (CEO).

Bill Dunnett was in August 2020 appointed to Ithaca Energy CEO role, taking over from his predecessor Les Thomas.

Dunnett also came from Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited, where he held the CEO role.

He stepped down from the role at Repsol Sinopec at the end of March 2020 and was replaced by Jose Luis Muñoz.
