This is a result of an agreement with the supplier Naturgy, a Spanish multinational natural gas and electrical energy utilities company.

The Mugardos liquefied natural gas terminal, located in the port of Ferrol, A Coruña, is estimated to require approximately 25 gigawatt hours for its operation in 2021. Naturgy will be in charge of the required electricity supply, with guarantee of origin in 2021.

This will bring 100 per cent renewable energy to the complex with a certified guarantee of origin.

With this development, Reganosa reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and caring for the environment, both of which are part of its decarbonization and energy transformation strategy.
