US DoE sets up MHK instrumentation database webinar

Business & Finance

US Department of Energy (DoE) is organizing a webinar to demonstrate its marine and hydrokinetic (MHK) instrumentation and sensor database.

In support of laboratory and field testing of MHK systems, the US DoE has developed open source online tools to help the international MHK community share information on MHK instrumentation and lessons learned from laboratory testing and field deployments.

The initiative was launched with the aim to help the emerging MHK community achieve greater success in technology development.

The instrumentation database is a comprehensive searchable collection of information and user experiences for instrumentation and sensors that are relevant for testing MHK systems in the field and laboratory.

In order to showcase its MHK instrumentation and sensor database, DoE has organized a webinar which can be viewed on November 9-10, 2016.
