POWER-GEN Europe, and its co-located event Renewable Energy World Europe, has announced Ineke Dezentjé Hamming-Bluemink and Marie Donnelly as final keynote speakers for the conference.

Dezentjé was appointed president of FME, a Dutch employers’ association in the technology industry  in 2011, and her work includes launching an analysis report for the energy market that provided an in-depth investigation of end market developments, trends in technology and energy transition.

Marie Donnelly, Director of Renewables, Research and Innovation, and Energy Efficiency at the European Commission’s DG Energy, is responsible for the development of policy and actions on energy efficiency and the coordination of research actions in the field of energy, including the development of innovative solutions for low carbon technologies.

Nigel Blackaby, Conference Director, said: “We are extremely pleased that Ineke and Maria have agreed to speak in Amsterdam at this year’s POWER-GEN Europe and Renewable Energy World Europe. The combination of their leadership in key energy industry organisations and experience in European politics makes them ideal authorities on the European manufacturing and energy industries.”

Dezentjé and Donnelly will be speaking alongside Maria van der Hoeven and Wolfgang Konrad.

The keynote address will take place at POWER-GEN Europe and Renewable Energy World Europe in the Amsterdam RAI on June 9, 2015.
