Correll Gets Formosa 1 OWF Cable Work from Jan De Nul

Correll Services has secured a contract from Jan De Nul for the subsea and land cable termination and testing works for the Phase 2 of the Formosa 1 offshore wind farm, in Taiwan.

Jan De Nul is the Formosa 1 project turnkey contractor in charge of the design, procurement and installation of the wind turbine foundations along with  scour protection and cable installation.

Correll scope of worknunder the contract includes project documentation, export cable (HV & FO) jointing at the TJB and OSS, array cable terminations (HV & FO) on 22 assets and post installation testing from the OSS to offshore assets.

Formosa 1, located off the coast of Chunan Town, Miaoli County, in North-West Taiwan, will be the first commercial-scale offshore wind farm in Taiwan before 2020.
