EdgeTech has appointed Erik Anderson as hydrographic product engineer of the company.

Previously with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of Coast Survey, Anderson joins the team based in the company’s Boca Raton, FL office.

Anderson has over ten years of experience in the field of marine surveying working with equipment such as side scan sonars, single beam and multibeam sonar systems.

While at NOAA his roles included planning, acquisition and processing of important survey data and ultimately held a lead hydrographic position overseeing the review and sign-off of approximately 20 official NOAA hydrographic survey projects.

“As part of EdgeTech Erik should provide hydrographic expertise as the company continues to grow its bathymetric and sonar offerings,” EdgeTech said in a press release.
