A new subsea company has officially launched on Monday with the announcement of its first UK contract.

An independent company focused on underwater integrity, remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), surveying and subsea services for both oil and gas, and renewables, Rovco has secured a contract with UK Marine Trust.

 


Shell Begins Production from Stones

Shell has started production from the Stones development in the Gulf of Mexico.

Stones is expected to produce around 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) when fully ramped up at the end of 2017.

Kongsberg Maritime has launched a new portfolio of fully ‘Integrated Vessel Concepts’ designed to harmonise handling, operations and energy systems on a wide range of specific vessel types.

The concepts are the product of the company’s new ‘Integration’ strategy, which has been established this summer to leverage existing and new Kongsberg technology to achieve tangible operational efficiency improvements.


Aker Solutions Sets Up New Leadership

Aker Solutions has introduced a new executive management team as part of the company’s broader reorganization.

The new organization will have five delivery centers: Customer Management, Front End, Products, Projects and Services. The new team will be operational from November 1.

 

 


Neptune Makes Organisational Changes

Neptune Marine Services has made organisational changes in line with the company’s commitment to adapting to changing market conditions.

Jason French, has been appointed to the newly created role of business development manager, following over ten years of service with the business, of which the last five were spent in the role of general manager for Neptune’s survey business. Pat Fournier has been promoted to general manager of the survey service line.
