DOF Subsea Wins New Contracts

Oslo-listed DOF Subsea said it has been awarded several contracts in Asia Pacific and Brasil in the past weeks.

During Q2 and so far in Q3 2016, DOF Subsea reported contract wins with a total value of NOK 3.3 billion, including options.

 

 


FMC Technologies ROVs for DOF Subsea

FMC Technologies has secured a contract with DOF Subsea for two new remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).

According to the company, the HD and UHD-III ROVs will be delivered by FMC Technologies’ Schilling Robotics business line in December 2016.

Maersk Supply Service is divesting up to 20 vessels and reducing its crew pool by 400 offshore positions over the coming 18 months.

The divestment plan is a response to vessels in lay-up, limited trading opportunities and the global over-supply of offshore supply vessels in the industry, the company informed on Thursday.

 


Helix Delivers First Riser-Based Coiled Tubing Intervention

Helix Well Ops UK has completed the industry’s first riser-based coiled tubing intervention project from a mobile offshore drilling unit (MODU) class light well intervention vessel (LWIV) the Well Enhancer.

Launched in 2009, the 132-metre long vessel was designed specifically to perform operations such as wireline and coiled tubing interventions and has undertaken over 130 well interventions in the North Sea, the Atlantic Ocean in Irish waters and offshore West Africa.


Technip-DOF Subsea PLSV Kicks Off for Petrobras

Technip and DOF Subsea joint venture, TechDof Brasil AS, has taken final delivery of the pipe-lay support vessel Skandi Açu.

The vessel has started its 8-year charter contract with Petrobras. It is the first of 4 PLSVs fixed on long-term charters with Petrobras which were awarded to the joint venture between DOF Subsea and Technip in August 2013.
