EASME Calls Contractors for Seabed Mapping Gig

The Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) in Brussels, Belgium has invited tenders for the provision of high resolution seabed mapping.

EASME has been established by the European Commission to manage several EU programmes that turn EU policies into actions in the field of energy, environment, maritime and SME support.

According to EASME, the aim is to create and maintain an operational service providing free and open access to digital maps of the seabed topography and coastline of European seas at the highest resolution possible and to the survey data underlying them.

The 48-months project is valued at approximately 10.2 million euros.

The deadline for the submission of tenders is August 02, 2016.
