Helix: Grand Canyon II Delivered

Helix Energy Solutions Group informed that its subsidiary Canyon Offshore has taken delivery of Grand Canyon II into its long term chartered vessel fleet.

The 127 meter, DP-3 multi-purpose vessel features a 250 ton AHC primary deck crane, 52 m2 moon pool, accommodation for 104, and two built-in third generation Schilling UHD work class ROV systems.

Grand Canyon II is a purpose-built vessel capable of performing subsea trenching, construction, inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) and light well intervention (LWI) duties.

The vessel is scheduled to begin work immediately on a subsea power cable trenching project in the Baltic Sea.
