Vattenfall's Wind Farm Connects to Germany’s Power Grid by 2014

Vattenfall, Swedish power company, will see its DanTysk offshore wind farm connected to the Germany’s power grid with the delay of up to five months, reports Boomberg.

Siemens spokesman Torsten Wolf stated the link is planned to be completed by the spring 2014 even though it was planned to be ready by the start of 2014.

This comes a few days after RWE announced it will postpone the decision on Innogy Nordsee 1 offshore wind farm for 2013.

This is not the only delay in connecting the wind farm to the grid. Early this year, EON said Amrumbank West wind farm connection will be delayed by 15 months.
