Business & Finance

Marine Well Containment Company will for the first time exhibit at the Clean Gulf Conference in San Antonio. In addition, MWCC Chief Operating Officer Dan Smallwood will address attendees during a subsea containment panel, as part of the Deepwater Prevention and Response conference track.

The conference, running from Nov. 30 – Dec. 1, attracts key professionals and decision makers from throughout the oil and chemical spill industry, maritime security industry and the marine salvage industry. These groups come together to view and present the latest product offerings, services and technologies, and to discuss critical trends and developments in the spill response industry.

Dan will join panel members in a discussion about currently available deepwater subsea containment systems, such as the MWCC interim containment system, as well as anticipated future developments. The panel will also cover current regulatory issues impacting subsea containment. The 90-minute session will take place on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 3 p.m.

MWCC company executives and representatives will also be available for discussion in booth 121 during the two-day conference. Booth visitors can learn more about the company and its containment capabilities by watching the new MWCC video series and system animation. MWCC will also have schematics and models of its expanded containment system – available in 2012 – on display in the booth.

Industry professionals are encouraged to visit MWCC booth 121 to not only learn more about the company and containment capability developments, but also to learn about MWCC employment opportunities in engineering, operations, HSE and other functional departments.
