MMA Offshore said on Tuesday that it had appointed David Ross as a managing director with effect from January 13, 2020.

Ross was appointed as the chief executive officer on July 1, 2019. As noted in the company’s Corporate Governance Statement for the Financial Year ending June 30, 2019, and during the annual general meeting on November 21, 2019, the board intended to appoint Ross as managing director as soon as reasonably practicable.

Following this appointment, Ross will hold the combined role of managing director and CEO of the MMA Group.

He joined MMA in 2005 and held a number of key executive roles at the company over that time, including the general manager of operations, and COO.

It is worth reminding that MMA Offshore recently completed the acquisition of the business of Neptune Marine Services by acquiring its key operating subsidiaries.
