Norwegian seismic firm names new CFO

Offshore seismic Magseis Fairfield has appointed Mark Ivin as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will take his position effective September 2019,  succeeding interim CFO Kevin Crosby.

According to Magseis Faifield, Ivin has more than 20 years’ experience in finance and management roles, most recently as CFO of Get AS, a leading fiberbased broadband and TV provider.

Previous positions include Finance Director at Statkraft, a leading company in hydropower internationally and Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy,
Partner at PwC and Senior Manager at EY, both in Oslo, Norway, as well as Finance Manager at Hughes Space & Communications in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Ivin is also on the board of directors of Oslo Børs listed Infront ASA, a global market data, news, analytics and securities trading tool company.

Ivin holds a Master of International Management degree from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management, Arizona, USA, and a Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration from University of Denver, Colorado, USA.
