From September the 8th 2014 to December the 5th 2014 BZEE will run the first English language Service Technician for Wind Turbines course in Husum, Germany.

BZEE to Hold Service Technician for Wind Turbines Course in Husum

Course contents:
– Fundamentals of wind energy technology
– Work safety
– First aid
– Working at heights and rescue training
– Wind turbine electronics, mechanics and hydraulics
– Rotor blade inspection and repair
– Practical instruction/work on real wind turbines
– Theoretical and practical examination

Participant requirements:
– Successful completion of an apprenticeship in the field of electrical engineering and/or mechanics or an equivalent qualification or work experience
– Physical fitness
– Medical examination for work where there is a risk of falling
– Ability to work in a team

Qualification:
– BZEE certificate Service Technician for Wind Turbines
– BZEE/GWO certificate Working at Heights and Rescue Training
– Further technical certificates
