KrisEnergy chief operating officer to leave in October

Chief operating officer of oil and gas company KrisEnergy has decided to resign from the company.

KrisEnergy said on Thursday that its chief operating officer (COO) James Parkin resigned from the role to pursue other interests.

According to the company, Parkin’s last day of service as KrisEnergy’s COO will be October 3, 2019.

Parkin was a member of KrisEnergy’s founding management team in 2009. He has more than 38 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas sector, 31 of which have been in Southeast Asia.

Kelvin Tang, CEO of KrisEnergy, said: “James has been an instrumental figure in KrisEnergy since we started up in 2009 and has provided guidance across the organization.

“On behalf of all KrisEnergy employees, I would like to give our sincere thanks to James. While we regret his decision, we send him our best wishes as he embarks on a new adventure.”
