Magseis Fairfield said on Thursday that the data acquisition would last for three months.

According to the company, the survey will begin in the third quarter of 2019 and will be acquired by the Artemis Athene seismic vessel.

In recent company news, Magseis Fairfield defeated a patent challenge last month brought on by its rival Seabed Geosolutions.

It is also worth reminding that Magseis acquired Fairfield Geotechnologies’ seismic technology business in December 2018.

Namely, Magseis announced it would acquire Fairfield’s seismic technology business in a deal valued $233 million in late October 2018. The transaction was completed in mid-December.
