A Havila Shipping-owned platform supply vessel (PSV) has been awarded a two-month contract extension with Mærsk Olie og Gas – a company of Total.

Havila said on Monday that Maersk Oil, now owned by Total, awarded a two-month extension to the PSV Havila Clipper, keeping the vessel with the Danish oil company until August 1, 2018.

The vessel has been working for Maersk since 2014 when it was hired on a firm contract for three years starting June 1, 2014.

The charter of the vessel was extended several times with the previous extension for the Havila Clipper coming in November 2017. This six-month extension ensured the vessel would stay with the Danish oil company until June 1, 2018.

The vessel is an 80-meter long, 17.6-meter wide platform supplier built at the Fjellstrand yard in 2011 which can accommodate 25 people.

According to the latest AIS data from Monday, April 23, the vessel is currently moored in the Port of Esbjerg, Denmark.
