Legeneering, an Australian engineering solutions provider, has been awarded a long-term offshore maintenance services contract for Woodside-operated floating production storage and offloading facilities (FPSOs).

The contract with the compatriot energy company is for an initial period of five years with a further two extension options of one year each, the engineering company said on Wednesday.

Further in the statement, Legeneering said it has been engaged to deliver general maintenance services and offshore brownfield implementation associated with Woodside-operated FPSOs located offshore Western Australia.

Legeneering Managing Director, Glen Crawford, said: “We are particularly pleased to have secured further work with Woodside, as this underlines our strong performance to date and further strengthens our presence in the oil & gas industry.”
