Semco Maritime bags Aker BP work

Project engineering company Semco Maritime has been awarded a framework agreement with the recently-formed E&P player Aker BP in Norway. 

The contract is for delivery of offshore personnel to Aker BP, specifically mechanical, electrical, automation instrument, radio, and crane specialists and health counselors.

The framework agreement has a duration of three years with an option for a total of three-year extension.

Bridget Njå, Vice Operation Support in Semco Maritime in Stavanger, said this contract award is of a great strategic importance for the company adding it might secure a number of jobs in the upcoming contract period.
