Tendeka awarded 4-year contract with Wintershall

Business & Finance

Tendeka, a provider of completions systems and services to the oil and gas industry, has won a four-year contract with Wintershall in Norway.

According to a statement by Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, a North-east Scotland’s private sector business organisation, Tendeka will supply sand screens for wells in the Maria, Brage, Skarfjell and Vega field developments on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The four-year contract with Wintershall may be extended for an additional four years due to an arranged extension option between the companies.

The contract includes a supply of Tendeka’s FloMax premium mesh sand screen, which uses a multi-layer design for sand retention and fines tolerance and its FloRight screen with inflow control device (ICD), which enables uniform production or injection along the entire payzone on the well.

Gary Smart, chief executive of Tendeka, said: “Being awarded the four-year contract by Wintershall Norge AS is tremendous news. Thanks go to our team in Norway and our internal and external supply chain who have excelled in sustainably positioning Tendeka more competitively during such difficult market conditions.”
