Gulf Island Fabrication inks LoI for jacket construction

Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc., a fabricator of offshore drilling and production platforms, has received a letter of Intent (LoI) from a U.S. customer.

The company received the LoI through its subsidiary, Gulf Island L.L.C.. The LoI is for the fabrication of six jacket/piles and deck sections, the company said without revealing the customer or any financial details.

Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc., based in Houston, Texas, is a fabricator of offshore drilling and production platforms, hull and/or deck sections of floating production platforms and other specialized structures used in the development and production of offshore oil and gas reserves.
