Rolls-Royce man taking over as CFO at Seadrill

Seadrill, an offshore drilling contractor, has announced that Mark Morris from Rolls-Royce will be joining the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), starting from  September 1, 2015.

Morris will succeed Rune Magnus Lundetræ at Seadrill, where he will oversee corporate finance, tax, investor relations, and risk and insurance and will report to Seadrill Chief Executive Officer Per Wullf.

Morris was most recently CFO for Rolls-Royce Group plc, where he held a number of roles in his 28 years with them.

Per Wullf, said: “Mark’s demonstrated record of accomplishment as a successful CFO in a FTSE top thirty company and his hands on business experience make him the perfect candidate for Seadrill.”
