Business & Finance

TGS has appointed Sven Børre Larsen as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to replace Kristian Johansen, who has been promoted to COO of the company in December 2014.

Larsen has decided to resign from his position as CFO of Prosafe Management AS to take on the same role in TGS in Asker, Norway. As the last day of employment in Prosafe is yet to be decided, TGS said that Johansen will continue to also serve as interim CFO until Larsen’s date of employment.

The effective date of Larsen’s employment is yet to be determined, but TGS notes that the employment date will be no later than December 1, 2015.

Robert Hobbs, Chief Executive Officer of TGS, said: “I am pleased to have Sven join our executive team. He brings a wealth of knowledge as a proven CFO of a successful oil and gas services organization and I look forward to his contribution to TGS’ continued success.”

Karl Ronny Klungtvedt, CEO of Prosafe Management AS, said: “I would like to thank Sven Børre Larsen for his efforts during his tenure at Prosafe. Mr. Larsen has contributed greatly to the progress of the company, and we wish him the best of luck in his new role.”
