2014 event selling out rapidly

OFFSHORE ENERGY 2014 SELLING OUT RAPIDLYLater this month Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference 2014 will kick off for the 7th time in history. Despite the fact that an additional 6000 sq.m. of exhibition floor was added to the floor plan the event organization expects to sell out any time now. The Offshore Energy Today crew spoke with Philip Mulder, Offshore Energy’s marketing manager.

“It is incredible to see that the rapid growth of the event since the start in 2008 continues,” says Annemieke den Otter, Offshore Energy Exhibition Manager. In 2013 the event was moved from hall 8 to halls 9,10 and 11 of Amsterdam RAI. After a year of absence hall 8 will once again be incorporated into the exhibition. The new hall will be the gateway to the conference area and is home to the new Offshore Energy Arena that accommodates the C-level panels.

Although hall 8 officially is new companies such as: ALE Heavylift, Oceanic Marine Contactors (OMC), Räder Vogel and the Port of Rotterdam decided to exhibit in this hall. For some exhibitors the possibility to upgrade the size of their stand was a reason to move. “However” says Philip Mulder, “Many exhibitors see that hall 8 has the potential to become the core of Offshore Energy in the future and want to secure their spot now it is still possible.”

You cannot say they are wrong. The Arena and the entrance of the conference area will attract some high level audience. The career pavilion, master classes and a catering area complete the new set up.

With more than 600 exhibiting companies and 10,000 visitors expected to join the event in Amsterdam this year it all looks promising.

For companies who are still interested to participate there is good news. Some spots are still available.
