Noble Awarded Drilling Contracts for Its Jack-Ups

Noble Corporation, a U.S.-based drilling contractor, has announced that it has secured a contract for its newbuild Noble Houston Colbert jack-up rig, as well as contracts and contract extensions for four other rigs in the Arabian Gulf.

In its fleet status report, the drilling contractor said that the contract is expected to start in April 2014 and will last until January 2015.

The jack-up rig of F&G JU-3000N design has been hired by Total for Argentine operations at a dayrate of $247,000.

In addition, the Company has secured extension contracts for its Noble Roger Lewis and Noble Scott Marks jack-up drilling rigs in the Middle East.

Both jack-ups will continue their contract with Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia.

The Noble Roger Lewis and the Noble Scott Marks contracts have both been extended for three more years, both at a dayrate of $257,000.

The Noble Roger Lewis rig will stay with Saudi Aramco until early March 2017, and the Noble Scott Marks has been contracted until early July 2017.

Noble Corporation has also received a Letter of Award for its Noble Roy Rhodes jack-up rig from an undisclosed client at a dayrate of $135,000. Estimated contract start date is early November 2013 which will last until early November 2016.

What is more, the Company has secured a contract at a dayrate of $95,000 for its Noble Dick Favor jack-up which will last from late November 2013 until late November 2015.
