EUROGATE Bremerhaven Welcomes New Transatlantic Service

EUROGATE Container Terminal Bremerhaven has received a new weekly transatlantic service, jointly launched by shipping lines CMA CGM, Hamburg Süd and United Arab Shipping Company (UASC).

The new pendulum service that links Asia, the Caribbean, the US East coast and Northern Europe was inaugurated in Bremenhaven on May 27th with the arrival of CPO Miami containership.

The containership features a length of 262 metres and a transport capacity of 4,255 TEUs.

The route is Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Pusan, Cartagena, Savannah, Charleston, Norfolk, New York, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Le Havre, Southampton, New York, Norfolk, Charleston, Savannah, Cartagena, Qingdao.

The service will operate with a total of 15 ships in the 3,800/4,800 TEU class, nine to be provided by CMA CGM, five by Hamburg Süd and one by UASC.
