Business & Finance

Turkish shipping company Yasa Shipping has been linked to the order of four Ultramax bulk carriers, including an option for a further four ships.

The bulkers were ordered at China’s Jiangsu New Yangzijiang shipyard earlier this month, according to information provided by VesselsValue.

Yasa Shipping will pay for each of the 64,000 dwt newbuildings USD 24 million, Seasure Shipbroking’s report shows.

The vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2019.

World Maritime News contacted Yasa Shipping for a confirmation on the matter, however, the company is yet to reply.

Currently, Yasa Shipping’s fleet is comprised of around 20 vessels, VesselsValue’s data indicates.
