Transocean Maritime Linked to Bulker Duo Order

Monaco-based shipowning company specializing in bulk carriers Transocean Maritime Agencies has ordered two Panamax bulk carriers at China’s Jingling Shipyard Jiangsu, data from VesselsValue shows.

As indicated, the 82,000 dwt newbuildings are priced at USD 24 million each.

The first ship from the batch is scheduled for delivery in 2018, while the second one should join the company’s fleet in 2019.

The shipowner has a fleet comprised of 18 bulk carriers, according to its website, featuring over 1.5 million in dwt.

The Transocean group was founded by Guenther Neunhoeffer in the early 1960’s.
