Spotted: AIDAperla Makes A Stop in Singapore

On May 9, AIDAperla, the newest cruise ship in AIDA Cruises’ fleet, visited Singapore on its way from Japan to Palma de Mallorca.

In late April, the 125,000 gross ton newbuilding was delivered to AIDACruises from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) in Nagasaki, Japan.

Following its short stop in Singapore, the cruise vessel continued its voyage on May 10. On May 25, AIDAperla is scheduled to visit the Port of Limassol in Cyprus.

AIDAperla, the twelfth vessel in the company’s fleet, is expected to be christened on June 30 in Palma de Mallorca.

With a length of 300 meters and a width of 37.6 meters, the ship is able to accommodate 3,300 passengers and 900 crewmembers.

Starting from June 1, there will be a five-day introductory cruise from Palma de Mallorca to Marseille, Barcelona and Valencia, according to AIDA Cruises.

In July, AIDAperla will offer cruises in the Western Mediterranean, with Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona being the start and end ports.
