A.P. Møller – Mærsk Buying Back

Danish liner giant A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S has bought back USD 256 million of its own shares during the period from 22 December 2014 to 2 January 2015.

During the said period the shipping company acquired a total of 3,099 A shares and 12,179 of B shares.

This is the second batch of the buy-back scheme running from November 2014 till February 2015.

The company currently owns a total of 61,612 A shares and 343,812 B shares as treasury shares, corresponding to 1.84% of the share capital.

A.P. Møller – Mærsk plans to buy back up to DKK 5.6bn during a 12-month period beginning 1 September 2014.

Transactions in relation to the buy-back program are being managed by Danske Bank.
