Chengxi Holds Steel Cutting Ceremony for Bulker CX0604

The steel cutting ceremony of 65,000 DWT bulk carrier, which is being built for Guangdong Marine Co., Ltd., was successfully held at Chengxi Shipyard’s Steel Fabrication Workshop on September 12th 2013.

The contract for the construction of the panamax bulker was signed on February 26th and its delivery is scheduled for mid-2014.

Light cargo Draft: 11.30 m

Scantling Draft: 13.30 m

Deadweight: The deadweight in sea water of 1.025 specific gravity will be abt. 51,500 metric tons at designed draft of 11.30 m and abt. 63,800 metric tons at scantling draft of 13.30 m.
