China: Jinhai Heavy Scores Vessel Delivery Record

Facing continued downturn in marine market, relying on the integrated advantages of HNA Group, Jinhai Heavy Industry Co., Ltd has obtained better performance in production and operation. By the end of June 2012, Jinhai Heavy Industry Co., Ltd scored the delivery record of 21 vessels with 2,637,200 of DWT, being one of the top marine enterprises at home and abroad.

This was achieved with timely adjustment of development strategies, with the strengthening of technological innovation and products research & development, with the constant creation of new modes and to ensure all the vessels would be delivered on schedule.

To ensure that all the vessels would be delivered on schedule, in the first half of this year, all the company staff and cadres pull together to overcome difficulties through making reasonable production plans and pushing every construction progress. JHI has created new records like the completion of sea trial for J0029 in three days, the J0068 was delivered only one month after its launching, delivering 11 vessels in June.

In the next half year, the company will make further efforts with carrying out production plans and taking control of every construction progress to increase sales promotion efforts, planning to deliver another 7 vessels of 845,200 DWT to ensure the annual production and operation plan.
