The Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured orders to establish two floating solar plants in India.
The two floating solar plants will have over 150 MWac of capacity, said the company.

In March 2024, L&T was awarded a five-year engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a floating solar project to be built at Getalsud Dam in Ranchi in eastern India’s state of Jharkhand.
Worth approximately $73.1 million, this contract covers design, engineering, supply, construction, testing, and commissioning, along with five years of operation and maintenance (O&M).
