Quoceant, an independent engineering consultancy based in Edinburgh, is looking for a mechanical engineer and a senior mechanical engineer to join its team.

In a senior mechanical engineer role, the person will be in charge of a project management of engineering tasks, ensuring that the technical content of all work carried out is correct, and completed in accordance with the relevant design standards, to agreed timescales and budgets.
The senior mechanical engineer will support business development by inputting into bids, engaging with potential clients and, as needed, attending events and conferences.
The candidate is required to have a first-class or 2:1 academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Furthermore, the company is looking for a mechanical engineer, to be based in Quoceant’s office in Edinburgh.
The candidate will be in charge of production of 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings among other things.
A first-class or 2:1 academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is required for the position.
