Irish hydrokinetic turbine developer GKinetic Energy has been selected as one of Hello Tomorrow’s Deep Tech Pioneers.
Every year, the Hello Tomorrow team receives thousands of applications to their deep tech startup competition, the Global Challenge.
The Hello Tomorrow team and network of experts judged and selected the best 750 startups (out of 5,176 applications coming from 128 countries), based on the technological innovation, economic viability, leadership & team and potential impact on industry and society.
“Being a Deep Tech Pioneer means that we’ve been recognised by Hello Tomorrow as one of the most promising projects in deep tech to date, ” said GKinetic.
“Making the Deep Tech shortlist also means that our application is now in the 2nd round of evaluation and we still have a shot at being selected as a finalist.”
GKinetic will be notified in January if it has been selected to pitch at the finals for a chance to win one of the fourteen €10K Track Prizes, or even the overall €100K Prize for the Grand Winner of the Challenge.
