State-owned Pakistan LNG said that 10 bidders vying to supply cargoes under the tender launched in May for the supply of five spot cargoes over July-September period.

The company said in its tender documents that Petronas, Eni, DXT, Trafigura, SOCAR, PetroChina, Gunvor, BB Energy, BP Singapore and Vitol have all passed the technical qualification,

The original tender document shows that the cargoes are to be delivered over five separate windows, one in July (July 30-31), one in August (August 23-24), with the remaining three cargoes to be delivered over three slots in September. The slots are set for September 3-4, September 15-16 and September 20-21.

The cargoes are to be supplied on a delivered ex-ship (DES) basis to BW’s FSRU BW Integrity at the Port Qasim, Karachi, with volumes requested to be 140,000 cubic meters.

Gunvor placed the lowest offer for the July cargo, SOCAR put in the lowest bid for the August window, while Eni, DXT and SOCAR again are the lowest bidders for the September slots.

Pakistan LNG plans to name the tender winners on June 24.
