Chinese submarine cable manufacturer ZTT Group received the purchasing contract from EMAS Chiyoda and Saipem and has been confirmed as the bidder of 33kV, 15kV of Hasbah II, Marjan & Zuluf, and Safaniya 10 these three projects from Saudi Aramco with total value of $30 million.

ZTT said it has passed the supplier qualification from Saudi Aramco since 2009 and achieved accumulated submarine cable orders with total amount over $100 million.

“Winning consecutive successful bidding in offshore oil-gas projects from Saudi Aramco marks ZTT has built the brand advantages in the high-end submarine cable markets, and had the strength to compete with the international top-ranking submarine enterprises in the high-tech products,” the company said in a press release.
