Lymington Yacht Haven (LYH) has been working with the Lymington Harbor Authority on a replenishment scheme on the marshland surrounding Lymington River.
Over the 2016/17 winter, the Yacht Haven’s dredging team undertook methodical dredging on the entrance to Lymington River and dumping mud on the marshland to the east of the river mouth.
This scheme is part of an ongoing project to strengthen the marshland to help protect the river and restrict the seabed erosion, LYH said.
