Peru’s only liquefaction facility at Pampa Melchorita dispatched its sixth cargo of the month during last week.

The cargo was loaded on May 22 onboard the 136,600 cbm LNG carrier Galea and sent on its way to Mexico, data from the state-owned Perupetro reveals.

This is the fourth cargo the 4.4 mtpa facility has dispatched to Mexico during the month of May.

Although Perupetro has not confirmed the exact destination of the vessel it is probably heading for the Manzanillo LNG terminal in the Colima state.

With the Galea dispatched from the facility, the total number of cargoes loaded at the Pampa Melchorita plant since the start of operations in June 2010 has reached 329.
