Dragon LNG import terminal at Waterston, Milford Haven is scheduled to receive a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar next week.

Data from the Milford Haven Port Authority revealed that the 210,000 cbm Al Sheehaniya LNG carrier is scheduled to deliver its cargo to the Dragon terminal on May 25.

The Q-Flex LNG carrier has been built by the South Korean shipbuilder, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) and delivered to its owner Nakilat in 2009.

The Dragon LNG terminal, owned by Shell and Petronas has a maximum gas send out rate to the NTS of 7.6 billion cubic meters of gas per annum. The terminal can supply up to 10 percent of the UK’s energy needs.
