Petronet’s Dahej LNG terminal gets cargo

Petronet LNG-operated Dahej liquefied natural gas terminal in Gujarat state, India received a cargo from Qatar, shipping data shows. Petronet LNG-operated Dahej liquefied natural gas terminal in Gujarat state, India received a cargo from Qatar, shipping data shows.

According to the data, the 138,097 cbm Disha LNG carrier docked at the Dahej terminal’s jetty on Wednesday carrying a cargo of chilled gas from the Qatari port of Ras Laffan.

Petronet LNG agreed in January a reduced price for chilled gas it imports from Qatar on 25-year 7.5 mtpa LNG deal it signed in 1999 with RasGas.

Tha largest LNG importer in India is also expanding its Dahej LNG terminal to boost its capacity to 15 mtpa with construction works expected to be completed by November this year.
