The UK’s liquefied natural gas terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway is expecting a fresh cargo from Qatar.

The 210,000 cbm Al Khattiya LNG carrier departed from Ras Laffan and is expected to dock at the South Hook jetty on February second, shipping data from the Milford Haven Port Authority reveals.

This is the first liquefied natural gas cargo scheduled for February delivery to the South Hook terminal.

The Q-Flex LNG carrier, Al Khattiya was built in 2009 at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering shipyard in South Korea.

The South Hook terminal is owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total. The terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
