Seatricity’s wave energy device Oceanus 2 is currently under tests at the Beaufort Wave basin, Ireland.

The testing of the device is taking place from July 13-18, 2015.
The aims of the trial include optimisation options for predicted device outputs used to compare the results with the full scale Oceanus 2 testing, and the examination of the tether loadings in storm conditions.
Seatricity, a Cornwall-based wave energy developer, has announced plans to deploy another Oceanus 2 unit at Wave Hub test site , subject to successful extension of their berthing agreement with Wave Hub.
