Future Energy Engineering has relocated its offices to the new location in the Blyth Renewable Enterprise Zone, Blyth, Northumberland.
The company has moved to the Brunel Building, Blyth, which is part of the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult’s site.
This area of the North East connects the company to neighbouring businesses such as the ORE Catapult (formerly Narec), the UK’s technology innovation and research centre for offshore wind, wave and tidal energy, and with others working within the renewable energy sector, Future Energy’s press release reads.
Stephen Robertson , Commercial Manager, ORE Catapult, commented: “We are pleased to be supporting Future Energy Engineering. Helping SMEs provide innovative solutions to address some of the challenges faced by the offshore renewables sector is a key focus area for the ORE Catapult.
“There is a growing cluster of specialist SMEs who are operating in and around Blyth, which is great for the local community. It is encouraging to see Future Energy Engineering going from strength to strength and this will hopefully encourage more companies to set up in the area, helping to bring this offshore renewable energy hub to life.”
