VOSTA LMG has been awarded a major order for efficient dredge ball joints from leading maritime services company Royal Boskalis Westminster.

The order consists of a series of high pressure Crossover ball joints suitable for dredge pipes with an internal diameter of 1000 mm. The Crossover ball joint is a new and patented design ball joint which utilizes two wear liners to provide optimal flow performance and maximum wear protection.

Nicole van Vliet, Fleet Manager at Boskalis , comments: “ Boskalis has ordered a series of X15-1000, 32 bar Crossover ball joints from VOSTA LMG as these type of ball joints combine easier coupling with improved flow and wear resistance.”

“ We are very happy to announce this prestigious order, following recent deliveries of Crossover ball joints in the Middle East .” says Marco Menheere, product manager at VOSTA LMG Components & Services. “ This order is another confirmation that we are on the right track with the development of more efficient dredge ball joints and dredging technology in general.”
