South Korea, the world’s second biggest buyer of LNG, is due to get a liquefied natural gas cargo from Qatar on September 5, according to shipping data. South Korea’s Pyeongtaek LNG terminal is the country’s first LNG import terminal and it is operated by KOGAS.
