Qatar ships LNG cargo to Japan

Qatar, the world’s largest liquefied natural gas producer, shipped an LNG cargo from the Ras Laffan Port to Japan today. Qatar, the world’s largest liquefied natural gas producer, shipped an LNG cargo from the Ras Laffan Port to Japan today.

The Duhail LNG tanker, with a capacity of 210,100 cubic meters, is expected to arrive at Chubu Electric’s Chita terminal on September 1, according to shipping data.

The Chita terminal is one of the largest LNG terminals in Japan. It supplies 60% of Chubu Electric’s LNG requirements and 80% of Toho Gas’ LNG requirements each year.
